Description: | | If you have strong sales skills and enjoy helping people with their finances this is the job for you. Loan experience is required, including HELOC knowledge. First Mortgage experience a plus! Must be sales oriented and able to work well with outside contacts to build loan portfolio. Position is full time with base pay and incentive package. | Duties: | Understands the Eagle Legacy Branch Goals.
Understands the Eagle Legacy Sales Philosophy.
Establish membership eligibility; open all types of accounts to include savings, checking, DBA, time deposits, IRA’s, trust accounts, etc.
Recognize cross selling opportunities in order to meet the members’ needs through interviews- follow through with the sale.
Understand the Members Relationship Cycle and the importance of retaining members.
Demonstrates a high level of product and service expertise.
See the “ Big Picture” of member retention and organization growth.
Offer alternatives to members and create “ win-win” situations.
Identify solutions and do the right thing, making sound decisions in resolving account problems and issues.
Serve the members’ timely, always going the extra mile to make experience fulfilling and satisfying for the member.
Understands current business and industry trends.
Process loan applications preparing all necessary documentation for approvals and/or denials. Determine collateral values and obtain all documentation needed to ensure the credit union’s lien position will be perfected. Submit for approval. Review and explain documentation to the member including term, interest rates, payment, insurance, etc.
Counsel and/or advise members regarding loan requests, personal budgets, and family finance. Refer members’ to budget counseling centers when needed.
Comprehend and comply with all Federal and State lending regulations, and all Eagle Legacy policies and procedures.
Complete required daily paperwork on a timely basis.
Ensure that all loan documents are prepared and accurate prior to the closing of the loan.
Be prompt and always follow through with members’ either verbal or otherwise.
Be aware of competition weaknesses- use to credit union’s advantage.
Perform necessary loan document maintenance, file and computer maintenance and loan tracking.
Assist members’ with transaction, account problems, questions, accurately and efficiently including but not limited to: checkbook imbalances, removing; adding joint owners, payroll and transfer transactions, research, death claims, safe deposit boxes, etc.
Meet the training requirements per month either on-line, attending classes, one on one training, taking on-line compliance/product knowledge courses and test.
Responsible for meeting established monthly loan goals.
Adheres to all policies of the credit union.
