We are looking for a hands on Scientist who is: --> A self-starter with high level of initiative to explore and pursue new innovations --> Detail oriented individual who can keep organized data on numerous projects --> Works well in a team environment to develop new formula prototypes and technologies in the forging lubricant product area --> Capable of experimentation on the bench with conventional and creative approaches to discover new technologies, new formula bases, raw ingredients and processing techniques that lead to unique products --> Able to manage multiple projects, report on technical subjects and be a diligent problem solver, while maintaining a clear sense of priorities and focus Qualifications: --> BS in Chemistry, or equivalent science; Graduate degree desirable --> Minimum of 2 years experience involving water based lubricant or graphite technologies --> Knowledge of chemistry, raw materials, surfactants, and dispersion technologies are required --> Strong problem solving, interpersonal, team, project management, bench and communication skills --> Ability to be flexible, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure --> The ability to use sound judgment in handling unanticipated situations with an entrepreneurial attitude --> The ability to conceptualize and apply innovative solutions --> Self-motivated and ability to work independently --> The ideal candidate must be proficient with computers and Microsoft Office programs and familiar with patents --> Must exhibit good performance, attendance and safety record in present position Compensation Package: Fuchs Lubricants Co. offers an excellent compensation and benefits package.
