Description: |
The primary function of the Physical Therapist is to perform and analyze tests and measurements of disabilities resulting from disease, injury; to plan, implement and modify treatment programs; to direct and supervise physical therapy services; to participate in discharge planning and CQI; to pursue professional growth; assist with educational duties and perform administrative and other duties as required. Must comply with all aspects of the Colorado Physical Therapy Act, in providing physical therapy services.

Duties: |
| Duties include but are not limited to: Demonstrating clinical expertise in the principles and practice of physical therapy, including evaluation of patients, development of plan of care, treatment plan, and knowledge of discharge criteria. Demonstrate knowledge in current treatment modalities and procedures and their safe usage. Maintains documentation according to department standards. Responsible for professional conduct, ethical practice and professional growth and development. Responsible for time management and productivity. Follows hospital-wide standards. Performs other duties as needed. |
Qualifications: |
| Qualifications required: Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy or BS in related field plus certification or Master’s Degree in P.T. Must be graduate of Physical Therapy program accredited by the APTA. Current State of Colorado Physical Therapist license. BCLS required. |
