Duties: |
| Utilizes the nursing process for patient care in all surgical specialties supported by Montrose Memorial Hospital. Specialized knowledge and skills for direct patient care, teaching patients or staff, and evaluating clinical performance of other perioperative staff. Acts as a resource within the department to all staff. Must be able to circulate and scrub experience is a plus. Works under the supervision of the Nurse Director and/or the House supervisor. |
Qualifications: |
Must have three or more years of OR specific experience. Must be able to scrub and circulate.
Certification in OR nursing is recommended. Active membership in professional organization (AORN) is highly recommended. BCLS required upon hire. ACLS recommended.
Must be licensed in the State of Colorado or a compact state.
