Job Identification: Commission Accounting Clerk, Reports to Director of Group Operations

Administrative Non-Exempt Employee

The general purpose of the position of the Commission Accounting Clerk is to post earnings (commissions) from various carriers to Gemini Group, Inc.’s commission accounting software system.

Duties:

The essential duties and responsibilities of the Commission Accounting Clerk include:

•Commission Accounting procedures including posting all earnings from various carriers and splitting commissions to different departments.
•Monthly consolidation of unposted commissions.
•Month End Balancing procedures, distribution of monthly reporting.
•Licensing and contracting for the company.
•Monthly reporting of individual department revenue, using Excel, reported to Accounting manager.
•Tracking of bonus payout for GA department based upon commissions received on a monthly basis.

Other Duties and responsibilities of the Commission Accounting Clerk include:

•Tracking of Gemini Rewards, announcement of standings and tracking of spreadsheet on a monthly basis.
•Miscellaneous tasks in Accounting Department as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education: High School Diploma

Minimum Experience: Five years working experience with two years experience working with billing departments or AP/AR.

Technical Knowledge and Skills: Computer literacy, highly effective communication skills as well as an ability to work with highly confidential information. Excellent project management skills and self-motivation are keys to success. Must be able to work in a team environment.
