| 80 hours per pay period. Call required. |
Duties: |
| Will functions as an instrument technician, coordinating and assembling appropriate instrumentation for each individual case, passing instrumentation, appropriate medications, and anticipating the needs of the surgeon. Will follow the established plan of care and provide direct surgical care interventions within the scope of practice. Works under the supervision of the OR Clinical Coordinator, Director of Surgical Services and/or RN (Circulator). Collaborates with unit/hospital staff and other health professionals. |
Qualifications: |
CERTIFIED SURGICAL TECH STRONGLY PREFERRED.
BCLS on hire. Must have knowledge of surgical instrumentation – use, care, and cleaning.
AS OF APRIL 1, 2011 THE STATE OF COLORADO REQUIRES A LICENSE FOR ALL SURGICAL TECHS. |
