Record Technician with the Adams County Sheriff's Office.
Shifts vary: Days, Swing and Graveyards. Rotating every quarter.

Duties: |
| Responsible for the performance of a wide variety of complex clerical and communication tasks. Duties include extensive work in data entry and maintenance of inmate booking records. Must be able to operate related computer equipment, radio, and telephone communication systems. Position requires extensive contact with the public. Work is performed under the general supervision of Lead Technician and the Records Supervisor in accordance with established policies and procedures. Work is reviewed for accuracy and thoroughness, while in progress and upon completion, by evaluation of monthly statistics, citizen feedback, and conferences. Work with CRS, bonds, and NCIC/CCIC computer. Reports directly to the Records Supervisor. |
Qualifications: |
High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience desired including public contact and computer usage. Typing 30 wpm with accuracy. Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to deal with a variety of people. Good organization skills. Ability to handle numerous tasks at one time and must be able to complete each task with accuracy. Must adhere to the confidentiality policy as it applies to this position.
Requires candidate to be able to work rotating shifts, holidays and weekends. |
